ACT NOW READY FOR BIG STAGE
How good was it to see Act Now back in winning form.
He has been one of our stable’s big players for a number of years now.
His 22nd career success at Melton on Saturday night (December 7) has taken his earnings past $900,000.
He has now has the magic million dollar mark in his sights.
Jodi Quinlan summed up Act Now’s return to the winners’ circle.
“It’s a very satisfying win as this horse had been through a lot.
“There are still a lot of good races for him to win if he is back like the Miracle Mile and races like that - I’d love to see him in a Miracle Mile.”
Act Now backs up at Melton on Saturday night (December 14).
BEYOND Delight is another which has worked his way back.
After going winless since mid-2022, he has now won two of three starts in Tasmania in a short time.
He has another standing start assignment at Launceston on Sunday (December 15), when he will be the backmarker on 40m.
TWO stable newcomers have had wins first-up for us.
The Narcissist scored at Ballarat after relocating from Queensland and former New Zealander Le Twist had success at Geelong in her first Australian outing.
