Winners across four states.
That’s been our week, with success in Victoria, NSW, Tasmania and South Australia.
With some of the big age classics coming up, no surprise a large part of our focus is with three-year-olds.
Hungry Hippo and Some Magic were winners on debut, and there were some well-performed youngsters putting their best foot forward.
This trend continues in the days ahead.
The Highlight Reel is coming back from a freshen up at Melton on Saturday night (August 9). He last raced in April.
Stormryder was one of our five runners in the 4yo classic, Chariot Of Fire, in March and is first-up since then at Melton as well.
While on 4yos, could not help but be impressed by War Dan Buddy’s performance in winning in 1:50.5 at Menangle on Saturday (August 2).
Luck hasn’t always been on his side, but what a record he has with nine wins and 11 minor placings from 30 starts for just shy of $400,000.
