TSR Weekly Wrap | 1 Feb 2023

We’re preparing to have our biggest-ever representation in the AG Hunter Cup on Saturday night.

Honolua Bay, Hurricane Harley and Mach Dan (4th last year) will be carry our hopes of a first win in the group 1.

Honolua Bay and Mach Dan have had enormous campaigns, reaching the Inter Dominion final.

In contrast Hurricane Harley is having just his second start since returning to the stable and come off a brilliant win in the G3 Casey Classic at Melton on Saturday night.

They’ve drawn: Honolua Bay 1, Mach Dan 7, Hurricane Harley 8

The Hunter Cup always brings back memories of the 1999 edition of the race at Moonee Valley when Clayton’s father Peter had one of his greatest training triumphs with Paris Affair.

The victory came just six weeks after the injury-troubled Paris Affair had his first race start after two years away from the track.

It’s going to be a big night on Saturday:

G2 4YO BONANZA - The Only Decision (first-up from NZ), Captain Ravishing

G2 LADYSHIP CUP - Polly Put Kettleon, Tough Tilly, Amore Vita

GOLD CHALICE - Sea Silk

THE PURE STEEL - Cant Top This

PRYDES EASIFEED PACE - The Raconteur
