TSR Weekly Wrap | 1 March 2022

A big way to finish the week as we launch into another big week.

Our Millionaire reinforced his standing as a country cups star with an all-the-way win in the group 2 $60,000 The Weekly Advertiser Horsham Pacing Cup on Sunday.

He added to his victories in the St Arnaud and Stawell Cups.

It’s been a big campaign for him with four victories off the back of an extended injury-enforced time.

Our Millionaire led home a trifecta, with Phoenix Prince running another big race to get second and Demon Delight filling third.

The Cup completed a double for us with Sunshine Beach 3yo gelding Mister Eighty One winning debut.

They were part of a driving treble for Mark Pitt.

Menangle is a special focus now with the $1m Miracle Mile and $200,000 NSW Derby at Menangle on Saturday night.

Mach Dan goes to the Miracle Mile, having locked in a spot with a 1:52.7 victory in the Newcastle Mile on February 18.

Like A Wildfire is second emergency. If he doesn’t get a run he’ll line up in a group 1 free-for-all.

Lightning Dan will represent the stable in the NSW Derby after a second in a heat.
