TSR Weekly Wrap | 1 May 2025
Excited to be on target for our first New Zealand feature win at our first try.
Ripples tackles the Group 2 $70,000 Delightful Lady Classic for 2yo fillies at Auckland’s Alexandra Park on Friday night.
She’ll be the only runner off the second row in the 1700m assignment.
The first time we’ve raced in NZ, Ripples showed plenty of fighting spirit after leading in a heat to stretch her unbeaten run to three, rating 1:58.
We then turn our attention back to New South Wales on Saturday night.
We’ll have starters in three NSW Oaks heats and in addition Sweet Bella will be second-up in the Group 3 $50,000 Robin Dundee Stakes at Menangle.
This race for mares is a qualifier for the G1 $200,000 Queen Elizabeth II Mile on May 10.
That will be the same night as the G1 $200,000 NSW Oaks final.
Here’s our Oaks heats runners:
Heat 1: Ivseenheavenslight
Heat 2: Ill Be Gone
Heat 3: Beach Diamond, Let Her Roll
