The Shepparton Pacing Cup on Saturday, January 13, is our next major target as the summer carnival hots up.
Hurricane Harley will fly the stable flag in the $75,000 feature.
He’s coming off a first-up third in the Bendigo Pacing Cup.
This will only be his third start at Shepparton, the latest being in September 2020.
We’ll have four starters at the meeting.
At a time when former stable star The Storm Inside is getting his first progeny to the races, it was pleasing to see his 3yo half-sister Our Storm Girl win on debut in Ballarat on Thursday, January 4.
She was completed a treble for us, with Champagne Delight making it three starts for three wins at her first visit to the races since November 2022.
Champagne Delight also gave Clayton a victory with just his second runner since August last year.
