The Vicbred Super Series rolls on into semi-finals after a week of 2yo, 3yo and 4yo heats.

We had two winners in each of the age groups and many others also qualified for the next phase.

Here’s our starters in 2yo and 3yo semi-finals at Melton on Saturday night (November 15):

3YO COLTS & GELDINGS: Viney (semi-final 2), Captain Perfect (2), Storms Collide (2).

3YO FILLIES: Beach Diamond (2), Sea Salt (2), Let Her Roll (2), Brighton (2).

2YO COLTS & GELDINGS: Most Exciting (1), Seaside Boy (1),  Shoreline Dream (1), Cardigan Dan (1), Moonlight Moth (1), Snippet (2).

2YO FILLIES: Poppy Lane (1), Hilltop Blossom (1), My Bettor Half (1), Believeitor Not (1), Pre Eminent (1), Arrhythmia (1), Ride The Rhythm (2).

BEFORE we get to those assignments, Oliver Dan makes his way back to NSW for the listed $60,000 The Bidgee over the marathon distance of 2800m at Wagga on Friday night.

This will be his second outing at the Riverina Raceway, having won there as a 3yo in 2023.

THEN we turn our attention to Tasmania with two starts at Launceston on Sunday.

Hungry Hippo is back in the state where he won his first three starts to contest a Globe Derby Prelude for 3yo colts & geldings.

Heza Punk Rocker is another returning the Apple Isle to run in a Tassie Golden Apple heat.
