All roads now lead to the Inter Dominion for Honolua Bay.

Landing a “Golden Ticket”, guaranteeing a start in the championship in Victoria in November/December, by taking out the Western Grant FFA at Melton on Saturday night was just perfect.

What a job Honolua Bay is doing.

That’s seven out of seven for the stable since October last year, including a G1 and two G2s.

Also a pleasing outcome with Sirletic scoring first-up for us and his news connections at Melton.

More to come with him.

We head to Menangle on Tuesday for our next interstate assignment, with three starters in heats of the inaugural Nutrien Equine Alabar Farms 2yo series

Unbeaten Major Celebrity (unbeaten in 2 starts and first-up since May) is the first heat for colts and geldings, and Petracca (freshened up since Melton win in mid-June) and First Responder in the second.

A $175,000 final will be at Menangle on August 27.

On Saturday night we have the G3 $30,000 APG Vic Gold Sovereign 3yo finals at Melton.

Our Little Jet tackles the fillies’ final with Larvotto, while Beach Villa and Khafaji will be in the colts and geldings’ final.

Our Little Jet and Beach Villa were heat winners at Kilmore.
