Our Group 2 double at Bathurst on Saturday night (March 28) with Willows Girl in the the Gold Bracelet Final for 3yo fillies and Brooklyn Dan in the Gold Chalice Final for 3yo colts & geldings was no exception.
A big thank you to Chris Frisby for allowing us to stable with him up there and to Noel Alexander and Jayne Davies for taking the horses to the Bathurst carnival and looking after them.
Noel and Jayne, who part-own Brooklyn Dan, are champion trainers and we are extremely grateful that they were prepared to go out of their way and help get the results we did. It was a privilege to have them involved.
Willows Girl and Brooklyn also provided a massive thrill for Team Zav.
Bathurst led a big weekend, with another double at Globe Derby Park and winner at Melton on Saturday, before capping it off with another success at Launceston on Sunday.
WE continue to spread our wings in coming days.
Bay Of Biscay returns in free-for-all company at Melton on Saturday night (April 4).
The now 5yo was last at the races in the Victoria Cup in October.
3yo Cardigan Bay also makes a return for the first time this season.
War Dan Buddy lines up in the listed $100,000 Riverina Championships Final for 4yo & 5yo entires/geldings at Wagga on Saturday night.
He qualified with a second in a heat.
Ravishing Ruby chases back-to-back wins in as many weeks at Launceston on Saturday night, where we also have My Bettor Half Racing.
