Aren’t we enjoying our trips down the Western Freeway to Melton.

The team was back on song on Saturday night (August 15) with another quartet of winners.

Fairplay, Cardigan Sniper, Apollostorm and The Last Trip continued our great run on the circuit - building Emma’s lead in the metropolitan trainers’ premiership to seven.

All four winners are enjoying fine seasons - Fairplay unbeaten in 4 starts, Cardigan Sniper and Apollostorm 4 wins in 5 starts, and The Last Trip unbeaten in 3 starts.

There’s a different looking crew at Melton this week (August 22) with Meteor Moth and Sir Jimmy going head-to-head, I Am The Storm and The Last Trip.

ENJOY Life provided the biggest win of the past week in the listed $40,000 Tasmanian Derby at Hobart.

The colt is unbeaten in seven starts (all this season), with six of them in Tasmania.

ALL this leading up to what will be another busy Vicbred Super Series for the stable.

There’s 3yo pacing heats at Kilmore on Thursday, August 27 and 2yos at Melton on Friday, August 28.
