The latest is that 3yo Bay Of Biscay will line up in the $2.1m feature at Menangle on September 7 for slot holder Kevin Seymour.
Coming off an interstate trip and a last-start second in the Queensland Derby on July 7, Bay Of Biscay has his next outing at Melton on Saturday night (August 24).
We’ve had a spread of winners around the state over there past week at Mildura, Charlton, Bendigo and Melton, as well as taking a big team to the Melton trials.
It was pleasing to see 3yo filly Very Pretty back a winner at Melton.
What a fine record she has with nine wins in 10 starts to be within $1000 of $300,000 in lifetime earnings as we gear up for some major targets at the back-end of the season.
