So much has happened in the past week.

We had an enormous night at Melton on April 20 with victories in three Nutrien Equine Pacing Classic Finals, which was a massive thrill.

$250,000 2yo fillies: Miss Australiana (trained by Clayton) 1, Ivseenheavenslight (Clayton) 2

$250,000 2yo colts/geldings: The Highlight Reel (Clayton) 1, Storm Collide (Clayton) 2

$150,000 3yo colts/geldings: Bay Of Biscay (Emma) 1

Having a son of Poster Boy - a pacer which gave us so much joy on the racetrack -  win in The Highlight Reel was particularly special.

Then there’s been more joy with honours in the Harness Racing Australia 2023 Australian Horse of the Year Awards.

The now retired Encipher capped off her racing career by being named the Aged Pacing Mare of the Year.

It completed a clean sweep for her, having previously been named the 2yo and 3yo filly of the year.

Ladies in Red has also been in the news as she prepares for her last racing campaign.

Her farewell tour will see her tackle the $200,000 Queen Elizabeth II Mile at Menangle on May 4 and then the Queensland Constellations Carnival in June-July featuring the $150,000 The Golden Girl.
