TSR Weekly Wrap | 28 Jan 2025
The big nights are what it’s all about.
So that’s why we’re stepping up with our biggest team of the season so far on Hunter Cup Night at Melton on Saturday (February 1).
Mach Dan heads up our assault on the meeting in the Group 1 $250,000 Hunter Cup, 2760m.
He’s competed in the race three times with his best finishes being fourths in 2022 and 2023.
We also have six in the G3 4yo Bonanza - Miki To Success, War Dan Buddy, Bay Of Biscay, Some American, Kingman and Stormryder.
Only Stormryder has raced this season.
Of the others, Ward Dan Buddy is the only one to have been to the races since Vicbred Super Series finals night in mid-November.
Sweet Bella contests the G3 Ladyship Cup, and Samkerr, Ill Be Gone and Milli Me in the Gold Chalice for 3yo fillies.
Looking forward to it.
Meanwhile, Always Hot remains unbeaten with five from five after taking out the listed VHRC Caduceus 3yo Classic at Melton on Saturday (January 25) in a slashing 1:50.9.
The Narcissist gave us a stable double in 1:50.8 to be unbeaten in three starts since arriving from Queensland.
