We’ve had the honour over the years of training many winners from multi generations in the line family.
Kahula became the latest in this category to land a big feature in the listed $200,000 Nutrien Classic Sales Races Series 2yo Pacing Fillies Final at Wagga on Saturday (May 30).
Having just her second race start, Kahula is the second foal out of group 1 winner Kualoa to race and win.
Bred by Bruce and Vicki Edward at Durham Park, Kualoa won two group 1s among the 13 wins for our stable.
As well as Kahula, Kualoa is the dam of Kualight (3 wins).
While Kahula was our only winner, Willows Girl, Cardigan Jem, Brooklyn Dan and Cardigan Dan also produced bold performances in their respective finals at Wagga.
BAY Of Biscay and War Dan Buddy continue to build towards the Queensland winter carnival with a one-two finish in Sunday’s Maryborough Pacing Cup.
Bay Of Biscay found the lead, with War Dan Buddy on his back for most of the journey.
They are both on target for the Inter Dominion Pacing Championship at Albion Park, where they will be joined by Oliver Dan in the series as well as Susan Is Her Name in the trotters championship.

WE have a big line-up at Melton on Saturday night (June 6).
Seaside Boy is chasing a fourth win in a row, The Art Of Success is attempting to extend her winning sequence to five, and Most Exciting and I Am The Storm are striving for hattricks of wins.
Fox Dan and Oliver Dan each tackle a free-for-all, and Dynamitedan is first-up since the Bathurst carnival in March.
THE five wins we’ve had in the past week took Emma’s career tally past 3600.
