What a run we enjoyed at Melton on Saturday nights throughout July.

Three trebles to give us 10 wins across four race meetings.

This has taken Emma to the top of the metropolitan trainers’ premiership with five months of the season to run.

She’s on 33 wins, two more than Marg & Paddy Lee.

It’s the same story in the state trainers’ premiership with Emma on 81 and 13 ahead.

We are looking for a strong start to August at Melton on Saturday night (August 1) with 10 acceptors - eight of which are last-start winners and have played a big part in our current run of success.

Once again we see The Art Of Success stepping out, this time from the pole in a free-for-all with seven wins on end.

Star Vision is another starter of interest as the 3yo colt starts on the mainland for the first time after starting his career with back-to-back wins in Tasmania in May.

We start our weekend racing with last-start winner The Final Dance at Melton on Friday night (July 31) and also bob up in Tasmania again, this time with Treacherous Dan at Launceston on Saturday.
