TSR Weekly Wrap | 6 Dec 2021
Excellent outcomes on Southern Cross Series at Globe Derby Park on Saturday night.
Encipher continued on her winning way in the 2yo fillies’ final and Treachery followed up her success as a 2yo last season by taking out the 3yo fillies’ final.
SA driver Mark Billinger took the reins as he had in the heats on the daughters of Captaintreacherous.
What a campaign it has been for Encipher, which started with a clean sweep of the SA Allwood series heat and final in May, and also included victory in the Breeders Crown.
Treacher added to a remarkable record at Globe Derby Park, where she has raced six times for six wins.
What a day it was on Thursday.
Five starters for five wins - one at Charlton and four at Kilmore.
They included 3yo Life Happens first-up from a break, 2yo Niki Beach on debut, 3yo Dangerous Hand first-up for the season, 2yo Torpedo Bart having his first start in his first run for us and Farady Hanover completing a hattrick of wins.
