The lead up to the $2.1m Eureka slot race at Menangle on September 2 has become a lot bigger.
Big news this week that SA-owned Encipher will join The Storm Inside in the inaugural running of the feature.
Encipher has been secured by slot holders Aaron Bain Racing and Summit Bloodstock - an ownership combination we train a number of horses for.
Meanwhile, The Lost Storm continues his lead-up against his own age at Melton on Saturday night.
He’s coming victory in the G1 Queensland Derby and in pursuit of a seventh consecutive win.
On Friday we head to Bendigo for the Nutrien Equine Classic 2yo and 3yo pacing and trotting finals.
We won four pacing heats at Bendigo on Wednesday, August 2, with 3yo filly Sweet Bella remaining unbeaten in four starts and 2yo colt Bay Of Biscay making its two wins from two starts in his first race since April.
Oliver Dan and Petracca (first-up since October) took out two of three heats for 3yo colts and geldings.
3yo fill Tradie Lady led the way for us in the trotting heats, winning at Kilmore on Thursday, August 3.
