FAREWELL MAAJIDA

We’re farewelling one of the all-time great pacing racemares Maajida.

Janes is off to the breeding barn with the stunning race record of 24 wins, 7 seconds and 1 third in 44 starts for $684,518.

She’s been one of the greatest mares we’ve had the privilege to care for and can’t wait to see her offspring.

A big thank you to the Johnsons at Atworthy Park for allowing us to oversee her racing career.

Maajida will always hold a unique place in Australian harness racing history, being the first and to date only pacing filly/mare to win Vicbred Super Series titles at two, three and four years of age – an extraordinary achievement.

She won four G1 races, with the fourth being the Breeders Crown as a two-year-old.

Maajida retires as the richest daughter of Somebeachsomewhere.
