Stable Weekly Wrap | 21 June 2021

Doubles at Shepparton on Friday and Melton on Saturday night on our return to racing after a couple of weeks without a runner.

A special moment among them, with long-time stable employee Ada Massa driving her first win on Concealment at Shepparton.

From Finland, Ada has been with us four years and the breakthrough victory came at just her ninth drive.

WEEKLY WRAP

1st Rockasaki (Jack Laugher): Blossom Lady for mares, 2240m (1:57.2), at Melton on Saturday, June 19. Returned to winning form with a lightning last to first move mid-race – finding the lead with a lap to run. Found plenty over the last 100m.

1st Struve (Connor Clarke): Alabar Pace, 2240m (1:56.9), at Melton on Saturday, June 19. Strong effort second-up since February for 12th career win in 24 starts to be on the cusp of $100,000 in earnings. Connor has had three drives on Struve for three wins. Connor’s first career win came on the 5yo in April last year.

1st Concealment (Ada Massa): Neatline Homes Pace, 2190m (2:1.3), at Shepparton on Friday, June 18. Settled next to last. Loomed up down the back straight the last time and strode the lead at the top of the home straight.

1st Krafty Bart (Connor Clarke): Saddleworld Shepparton Pace, 1690m (1:55.3), at Shepparton on Friday, June 18.  Did it tough, working three wide for the opening 500m before finding the spot outside the leader. Ran clear with 500m to go to lock in a 28.4sec third 400m sector. That’s five wins in his past six starts.
