Three first-time winners for the stable in the past week.
Debutante Life Happens kicked off the sequence at Charlton on Monday – with the three-year-old filly saluting on debut.
Four-year-old mare Nikki Louise scored at Bendigo on Tuesday.
This was her first start since late January after having all her previous starts in Western Australia.
Then former NZ four-year-old trotting mare Missucci won at her first Australian start at Cranbourne on Sunday night.
WEEK IN REVIEW
1st Missucci (Kate Gath): Aldebaran Park Trotters Handicap, 2100m (2:4.6), at Cranbourne on Sunday, June 27. A 4yo mare by Majestic Son, should could not have been any more impressive on her first appearance for the stable after relocating from NZ. Led and ran away by 8.6m.
1st Runaway Celebrity (Kate Gath): VHRC Thanks John Hawke Renown Silverware 3yo Pace, 2240m (1:58.4), at Melton on Saturday, June 26. This gives this filly three wins from four career starts. Put the race away with the last 400m in 27.7 seconds.
1st Platinum Sparkle (Rebecca Bartley): Rachael McGrath Memorial Pace, 2180m (1:59.3), at Stawell on Friday, June 25. First outing for the 3yo filly in open age company. Gives her five career wins and takes her earnings past $50,000.
1st Go Dancing (Rebecca Bartley): Wimmera Mallee Vet Services 3yo Pace, 2180m (1:56.8), at Stawell on Friday, June 25. Second win of the season (in three starts). Raced outside the leader.
1st Nikki Louise (Kate Gath): Yorkshire Park Standardbreds Pace, 2150m (career best 1:56.2), at Bendigo on Tuesday, June 22. 4yo mare by Major Art which was having her first start for Emma after starting her career in Western Australia.
1st Life Happens (Allan McDonough): TAB Long May We Play 3yo Pace, 2100m (1:58.7), at Charlton on Monday, June 21. This was the Somebeachsomewhere filly’s first race start. Scored after sitting outside the leader and running last 800m in 56.2 seconds (27.9 and 28.3).
