The Lost Storm took his biggest step so far towards a Queensland Constellations Carnival campaign at Bendigo trials on Monday night.

He worked home strongly in his first public appearance this preparation to hit the line strongly.

He saluted in 1:58.4, with the last 800m of the trial covered in 56.8 and the last 400m in 28.1.

The Lost Storm hasn’t raced since his win in the Vicbred Super Series 2yo final on New Year’s Eve.

He’s on his way to the $350,000 The Rising Sun in Queensland on July 8 as part of the team we’re taking north for some warmer weather than we’re experiencing at home right now.

It was a big night on Monday, with us having 14 runners at the Bendigo trials, including Mach Dan, which hasn’t been to the races since the Miracle Mile, Tough Tiilly, Amore Vita, Treachery, and Soho Historia.

Imported NZ mare Dannemora continues to make an impression.

She is unbeaten in five starts for us and has more than doubled her career earnings in that time after her second metropolitan win at Melton.
