TSR Weekly Wrap | 20 Mar 2024
Wasn’t it exciting to see The Lost Storm back and how well did he go.
Could not have been more pleased with the way he ran away by 8.1m in the City Of Melton Plate XXXV - going 26sec over the last 400m to rate 1:56.3.
Being his first run since October, the 4yo now has almost $340,000 from 12 wins in 17 starts.
This is the first stepping stone in what is hopefully another crack at the TAB Eureka slot race at Menangle in September.
First though, the 4yo and 5yo Regional Championship at Wagga is on the agenda later this month.
Clayton tasted success with Tasmanian-owned mare Indelible in her home state - winning a heat of the Jane Ellen for fillies and mares on March 17.
The final will be at Launceston on March 30.
Clayton will line up two first-starters in the Shakamaker 2yo Classic at Melton on March 23.
The Highland Reel is by an old stable favourite Poster Boy and Apollostorm is by Art Major.
