TSR Weekly Wrap | 22 May 2023

Our South Australian ties have been further strengthened through two feature successes.

Encipher, bred and owned by SA’s Tyson Linke, returned to winning form in the $30,000 Richmond Lass for mares at Melton on Saturday.

She has built up an imposing record as an outstanding 2yo and 3yo in the past two seasons and is now set to continue as one of the country’s best 4yo mares.

Encipher has 14 wins in 23 starts and earned $553,099.

She led home a quinella for us, with Von Art (also raced by SA interest) a half head away second.

At Globe Derby Park on the same night, Queen Treacherie took out the Pacing For Pink 3yo Classic.

The NZ-bred filly has won four of five starts - in Victoria, Tasmania and SA.
