No question who was the star of the week.
It was fantastic for Phoenix Prince not only get back in winning form for the first time in more than two years, but to capture the G2 Mildura Pacing Cup was something special.
His big ownership has been patient, getting him back in January after two years off the scene with injury and rehabilitation.
He put the writing on the wall in his heat on Tuesday and then reunited with Jodi Quinlan was emphatic in the $60,000 final on Saturday night.
It takes his earnings to $321,000 from 19 career wins in 41 starts.
The back-to-back wins followed seconds in the Terang, Horsham and Charlton Cups, and third in the Echuca Cup.
Our Millionaire also produced a big win to get second in the Mildura Cup final from outside the leader and after winning his heat.
