A special moment at Menangle on Saturday night with Emma having her 100th group 1 win.

First Responder had the distinction of securing the milestone in the inaugural running of the $175,000

Nutrien Equine Alabar Farms 2yo Pacing Colts/Geldings Final.

It was great to be able to share the moment with a great bunch of owners.

This gives the son of Art Major 2 wins in 4 starts and the key to a big future.

Interviewed after the win, Emma told Sky Racing: “It is special. It’s one of those things you never think is going to happen, so you didn’t want to have too high expectations tonight having the three favourites, but they got the job done so it was really good.”

It seems so long ago when Emma secured her first group 1 with Manwarra Hatrick in the Vicbred Super Series 4yo final in 2002.
