Inter Dominion-bound Honolua Bay continues to take all before him.

He came off the second row to extend his winning streak to eight in the Minute Man Free-For-All at Melton on Saturday night.

He takes everything in his stride and once in front was always in control.

That’s 17 wins in 24 career starts.

And isn’t Mark Pitt excited to have the reins.

“It was (impressive) and I still think there’s more improvement in him yet,” he told TrotsVision.

“I’m super excited. I never thought I’d see this day. Since I’ve been a kid I’ve always wanted to have this opportunity (to drive in an Inter Dominion) and Emma (Stewart) and Clayton (Tonkin), and Bill and Anne (Anderson) have given me that opportunity and I’m very grateful for it.”

It was great to get a treble at Melton, which also included Runaway Celebrity in the G3 Matriarch Pace Final.

She’s building an impressive record with 10 wins in 22 starts.

The NZ-bred 3yo trotter Hesallmuscle was a winner on debut at Maryborough on Monday.

It was a big effort in testing wet conditions, with the son of Muscle Hill giving away 50m to tear away leaders with 1000m.

He still had 15m to make up on the home turn, nut in workman-like knuckled down to the task and grabbed the lead right on the post.

Hesallmuscle is well connected, being the fourth winner out of Love You mare Lotalov.

Act Now’s younger half-sister Talk time made it back-to-back wins at Bendigo on Tuesday night.
