Willows Girl and Arrhythmia give us a two-pronged attack on the Group 1 $200,000 NSW Oaks at Menangle on Saturday night (May 2).

The Team Zav duo made statements in heat wins.

Arrhythmia produced the fastest heat win in 1:50.2 for the 1609m, while Willows Girl recorded 1:50.9.

WE’RE also taking two into the listed City Of Melton Plate at Melton on Saturday night.

War Dan Buddy and Bay Of Biscay are part of a small line-up of six.

IT’S been a busy week on the trial front, going to Bendigo on Monday night and then Melton on Tuesday.

We had a look at the likes of unraced Star Vision (Always B Miki-Starburst Girl), Some High (Ride High-Somerocksomeroll), Cardigan Boom (Ride High-Soniq Boom) and Cardigan Sniper (Ultimate Sniper-Pastels) go around at Bendigo and High Tempo (Ride High-Come Dance With Me) at Melton.

It was also exciting to see Susan Is Her Name making her first public appearance in a year at Melton, and rating 1:56.2.
