The high of highs!

It’s hard to put into words the thrill of Honolua Bay’s win in the G1 $500,000 AG Hunter Cup at Melton on Saturday night.

We’ve had many special moments, but this was something else.

As Emma told National Trotguide: “It’s an amazing feeling. These are the races where you really want to stand up and we’ve been able to do that.

“We’ve had runners in several Hunter and Victoria Cups, the Miracle Mile and Inter Dominion, but just haven’t been able to crack one of the big ones until tonight.”

Congratulations to everyone involved - reinsman David Moran and owner/breeders Anne and Bill Anderson, who have been great supporters of our stable for many years.

Once again we want to acknowledge the work Sam has done with Honolua Bay.

He deserves a big mention and a lot of credit.

What a campaign Honolua Bay has had, going back to July, as he’s taken his earnings to $732,000 with 21 career wins.

And he’s not finished yet.

Now it’s off to Menangle for the Miracle Mile.

All that came after we saw another outstanding performance by Captain Ravishing in the G2 $100,00 4yo Bonanza.

He made the race his own along way from home and is also now off to Sydney.
